The Lion dance, one of China’s national intangible cultural heritages, often sets the first impression of Foshan. In the Lingnan region, lion dances are a must during festive occasions. With the Chinese New Year around the corner, our diplomates visited Foshan Xiqiao Town, renowned as the 'birthplace of lion dances,' to experience the lively and joyous atmosphere of Lingnan.
